Baton Rouge Area Foundation releases CityStats

The Baton Rouge annual CityStats report was released Monday by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.

In its third year, the survey uses more than 60 indicators to track the quality of life for East Baton Rouge Parish, asking questions concerning public spending, crime, the legalization of gay marriage, traffic and infrastructure, education and more.

The Foundation uses these statistics to guide its initiatives and community involvement each year and so do many other organizations.

The report can be found here or at http://www.braf.org. To get involved in the conversation, visit and "Like" BR CityStats on Facebook.
