Obscure Holiday Calendar for JulyLCTCSOnline launches new website
Designed by Covalent Logic, LCTCSOnline's new site offers informational resources for prospective students as well as current students and faculty. The System's main objectives with this website were to engage students with a more user-friendly interface and increase enrollment by communicating what LCTCSOnline has to offer. This goal lent to the site's simple and brochure-like style. Overall, the effect was a solid and consistent visual presentation of LCTCSOnline, which had never been explored before.
The site launch follows a recent branding effort for the school that included developing a unique identity through mark, type and color design. The logo's four emphasized forms symbolize the four pillars of an LCTCSOnline education: Aspiration, Ambition, Action and Achievement. The goal of this effort was to brand LCTCS Online as a unique entity within the system.
LCTCSOnline began in January 2009 to provide Louisiana citizens with better access to online courses offered via this college system, encouraging stronger links among Louisiana educational institutions and business, government and the surrounding community.
