COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- Local entrepreneurs Stafford Kendall and Tommy Talley have been selected for Startup Bus: Europe, an international competition that pits Buspreneurs from different European regions against one another. They will be blogging their adventure at: www.louisianavikings.com.

StartupBus exists to create a community of the best "hackers, hipsters and hustlers" in the world. The competition itself forges these "buspreneurs" together through shared experience and is a vehicle that fosters talent that have the capacity to change the status quo. StartupBus has evolved from an experiment to a competition and an international community of unique people. The annual competition has grown across two continents as the type of institution that leaves a lasting legacy on the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Stafford Kendall, APR, is the co-founder of Covalent Logic, an interactive public relations firm in Baton Rouge, La. Working with a variety of public, private and non-profit organizations, she has helped develop award-winning communications, advertising and branding campaigns for more than fifteen years. Personally, she has been awarded 2011 Forty Under 40, 2012 Young Business Person of the Year by the Baton Rouge Business Report & Junior Achievement, and Women in Media Award of Excellence. This year, she was the chairman of Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week and led a city-wide celebration of start-ups, business development and technology education.

Tommy Talley is a Baton Rouge native who developed his talents primarily in the Los Angeles film and television community, working as a cameraman (and sometime editor & producer) on projects such as NBC's Biggest Loser, MTV's Punk'd, and Nick Jr.'s Yo Gabba Gabba. Back in Baton Rouge with his wife and three daughters, Tommy takes the skills he learned in Hollywood to work in Louisiana's dynamic, growing film industry. Tommy owns TommysTV, a production company with clients such as: Bite and Booze, Raising Cane's, Visit Baton Rouge, Covalent Logic, LSU, New Orleans Hornets, and 225 Magazine.
