Advertising03.09.11iab goes BIG
In an effort to bring the big bucks to the web, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has selected six new ad formats.
If you have ever wondered how search result rankings come to be, one of the criteria involving "organic," or non paid results, is the
number of links from other websites linking to a particular one. In
this case, J.C. Penney engaged in exorbitantly scattering links
throughout the net to their site, for anything from dresses, to travel
gear, all in the hopes of raising their sites profile on Google
searches. Google is not to happy about this, as they consider it
cheating.
