As part of their Five-Year Strategic Plan, CATS came to us to accomplish several crucial objectives. They needed help in improving the public’s perception, promoting their services and offerings and broadening the city’s view of their value and economic impact. But their primary goal was in maximizing communications with their key audience, and our research revealed that would require a strategic mix of both traditional media and technical augmentation.
Our first step was to completely overhaul their brand and create a colorful, cohesive and convenient messaging platform, with components such as easily-accessible brochures, bus-side and bus shelter ads. We then redeveloped their website to enhance their customers’ experience, with features that included an alert system for route changes, easier single and multi-day ticket purchases, a RouteShout app which tracked buses in real time and a large interactive map to locate stops and routes across town.
